Season 1 Episode 9: Heavy Hands

Joey starts bringing in real money from Frank’s organization, which improves life at home but increases his emotional struggles. Joey brings Maria back to his house but she becomes more volatile, alternating between needing Joey and literally attacking him for becoming unreliable and distant. Joey goes out with his family in order to fix the time he missed out on, they have a good time but his mother does not buy it. Vinny notices Joey is starting to look permanently exhausted and tries to cheer him up by cracking jokes and making fun of David but to no avail.
