Laura's success spreads quickly thanks to a flattering newspaper article, but the editorial staff aren't as enthusiastic about her friend's book. Maya, Rosa, and Lea recognize themselves in Laura's portraits of women in her book and have no intention of forgiving their friend for being publicly exposed. Laura tries to clarify things with her friends, but fails to achieve anything. Monica and Adriano's relationship is flourishing: the awkward ornithologist manages to fulfill the expectant mother's every wish, but from Heaven, Michele is distraught over the choices of his loved ones.
