Farisi had lent his studio apartment to Ibrahim El Bakraoui, Khalid El Bakraoui, and Osama Krayem—three Belgian Islamist terrorists involved in the November 13, 2015, Paris attacks and subsequently the perpetrators of the March 22, 2016, Brussels attacks, which left 35 people dead and 340 injured. Smail Farisi is charged with 35 counts of murder committed in a terrorist context. Michel takes us behind the scenes of the largest trial in Belgian history, which lasted ten months.
