Thank you to André Baratte for coming to share his story on LEGEND Story. On April 1, 1944, a group of Resistance fighters sabotaged a railway line to halt a train. What they didn't know was that the train was actually carrying 400 Waffen-SS troops (Nazi soldiers). At just 15 years old, André witnessed the unthinkable: his father and 85 other civilians were executed in his village. He survived by a miracle and shares his story with us.
