Gangadhar is overjoyed on seeing Laxmi Bai arrive on horseback with their child. Nelson and Ellis reach the palace with their troops. A smug Nelson taunts Raghunath and is shocked to see Gangadhar alive. The bigger shock comes in the form of Laxmi Bai and the crown prince. Laxmi Bai tears the annexation order.
