Elizabeth learns Peter's secret from Arthur and is tasked with dissuading Victoria from pursuing him. The family receives a holiday call from Helen and Anne, who will be returning soon to Larkfield Manor. Geoffrey and Rosemary visit Arthur to set him straight about Peter's scandalous past.
