Vincent Daron, a brilliant and eccentric attorney at the Bordeaux Bar, heads a renowned family law firm that he founded with his brother, Jean-Michel. But when Jean-Michel passes away, Daron is stunned to discover that his brother has bequeathed all of his shares to Pauline Lefranc, a young lawyer who has just given him a run for his money in a trial and who has no connection to the family! This surprise is all the more shocking because his own children, the twins Esther and Grégory, were convinced they would inherit from their uncle and become partners in the firm.
